New "green building" construction is popping up throughout Indiana. Please join us on Saturday August 8th as John Shafer, fire service instructor and developer of the website Green Maltese (http://www.greenmaltese.com) shares information on the hazards of operating in these types of buildings and what new construction technologies are on the horizon. This is not your typical building construction class! John Shafer is an 18 year veteran of the fire service, and currently a Lieutenant and the Training Officer for the Greencastle Fire Department. An Indiana regionally recognized instructor on building construction, fireground search and command management, he has traveled throughout the State of Indiana delivering specialized training programs on building construction, fireground search and firefighter safety. - See more at: http://www.greenmaltese.com
