Rescue and Survival Train-the-Trainer

This course is designed as a Rescue and Survival Train-the-Trainer. Students will learn the classroom and skills associated with the NFA Program. This class is extremely physically demanding and hands on. Students will be required to perform all skills stations a multitude of times to ensure competency. Turn out gear is a must for skills day. Students must attend all 3 classes and are expected to teach a live class at a later date to be considered as a Safety and Survival Instructor.
· Must have successfully completed a Rescue and Survival Course (documentation required)

· Must be willing to teach the Safety and Survival course for at least 2 District funded classes throughout a calendar year
Class size will be extremely limited. Signing up to attend the course does not guarantee participation. A selection process including interviews will be followed to ensure the students are well suited to the task. Once the selection process is completed, the Lead Instructor will contact the selected students to inform them of their participation.
