The Chief Officer’s Leadership Institute will be held at the Ivy Tech Public Safety Academy July 28th- August 1st, 2014, from 0800 until 1600 each day.
The Chief Officer Leadership Institute (COLI) is program designed for chief officers or those aspiring to serve as a chief officer. The COLI seeks to develop, enhance and refine the qualities essential for leading through the challenges of a modern fire service organization. The program strives to help newer chiefs improve their leadership skill set and help aspiring chief officers prepare for positions of greater responsibility. The program will provide new knowledge, build self-awareness of strengths and opportunities for personal development, facilitate changes in perspective, develop skills for success, and share strategies for changing behaviors.

The class is funded by IDHS and hosted by the Fort Wayne Fire Department. Please register on the District 3 Training Website. Deadline for registration is 7/21/14 st at noon. Maximum class size is 25.
